Chosen Hands in Home Care is the reality of a dream that has been birthed from the heart of Jamesila Williams
(Founder & Owner). Being a nurse is something that she has wanted to do since junior high school, and in 2001 that dream started to become a reality.
Jamesila’s education began in the Lancaster County School System. She graduated in 1993 from Lancaster High School, in Lancaster, SC and continued her education at York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC. It is there that she received her diploma and accreditation as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
In 2002, she began working with geriatric patients. Young adults and Geriatrics care/nursing is the specialty that concerns itself with the provision of nursing services to young adults or aged individuals. This is when Jamesila realized that she had a strong desire to help men and women who are approaching or in the late stages of life. Serving the community surpassed being a job, and moved into a passion and a joy of her life.
